Now for the fun part!

  • Weekly visits are on set days Monday through Friday
  • Family members are always welcome — learn something new or just have a good time
  • HARMONY systems are put in place to make life easier between visits (see Family Support)

Specialized visits contain three main elements

  1. Friendship and connection
  2. Therapeutic treatments (see Therapies)
  3. Activities in HARMONY’S Nine Activity Areas

  • EXERCISE: Adaptive yoga, dancing to music, light weight training, and adaptive sports
  • MUSIC: Listening, singing, and playing various instruments including keyboard, violin, folk harp, autoharp, singing bowl, buffalo drum, drum machine, chimes, and ukelele
  • HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Woodworking, gardening, games, photography, sports, poetry, etc.
  • SERVICE PROJECTS: Giving back through connections with local non-profits, and supporting favorite causes
  • ART: Fine art appreciation, and creating art through age-appropriate, no-fail projects
  • LIFELONG LEARNING: Focusing on the joy of learning and discovery (rather than on retention)
  • SOCIAL CONNECTIONS: Strengthening connections with grandkids, family, friends, neighbors, and the world
  • EMOTIONAL & SPIRITUAL PURSUITS: Using what edifies you, be it meditation, Bible study, emotional processing, and more
  • LIFE CHRONICLING: Honoring the person, enjoying the past together, and capturing the present moment
